KPartEd

What is KPartEd?

A KPartEd is a GUI disk partitioning utility for KDE and Qt/Embedded. The partition management is handled using libparted with KPartEd providing an easy to use front end. The partition types currently supported are: ext2, FAT (including VFAT and FAT32), linux swap, HFS, NTFS and ReiserFS. See the parted documentation for details of the level of support for the different file systems.

Status

Currently KPartEd can only view partition tables, but I'll be adding the editing features soon. All the images below show the current working code running with Qt/X11. I have not yet tested with Qt/E but the app is pure-Qt so it should work fine.

Download

The current version of KPartEd is 0.1.

In this image, you can see KPartEd as it looks when it is first started. The check boxes in the 'Details' group are disabled (because there is no selected partition).
